NUTANA SPIELS Print
The Nutana Curling Club proudly operates five major spiels annually and is the host venue to the women's "Colonial Square Ladies Curling Classic" now in its 29th year. Registration form at http://www.nutanacurlingclub.ca/index.php?option=com_docman&task=cat_view&gid=6&Itemid=21

The competitive curling begins early with the Saskatchewan Curling Tour "Point Optical Qualifier" spiel from the 15th to the 17th of  October.  The Point Optical Qualifier cash spiel awards nearly $15,000.00 in prize money plus up to 4 teams receive invitations to the prestigious World Curling Tour "Point Optical Charity Classic". 
The end of October sees provincial, national and international teams come to the Nutana to compete for the "Colonial Square Ladies Curling Classic" crown.  From October 29th - November 1st you can expect to see Canada's best playing for the "Classic" Championship.  

The Dundee Developments "Senior Men’s Spiel" moves to Dec.3rd to the 5th. Thirty-two competitive senior mens teams meet at the Nutana and play for nearly $10,000.00 in prize money. 

The last week of November is bonspiel week.  From November 26th - 29th, teams from around the world converge on the Nutana to compete in the WCT season ending "Point Optical Charity Classic" bonspiel.  The $65,200.00 purse has been contested by many provincial, national and world champion teams in the events 34 year illustrious history.  Notable past champions include World Champions “Rick Folk” and “Randy Ferbey” to mention a few.  Register for this event at http://www.nutanacurlingclub.ca/index.php?option=com_docman&task=cat_view&gid=6&Itemid=21

      

The "Greenbryre Senior Mixed" is the season ending event at the Nutana Curling Club.  Now in its 8th year, this event has become a must attend function!  Twenty-four teams vie for excellent prizes from the 25th to the 27th of March.
